Sleep
Sleep is the daily process of physiological restitution and recovery. It is also one of the most important steps in maintaining your health. The proportion of people not enjoying a long and relaxing sleep is very high - and one of the reasons fpr this is their 'sleep environment' is not right. To get a more restful, longer and deeper sleep, the 'sleep environment' should be as natural as possible - and that is where Alpaca fibre is proving to be very beneficial.
Best of Alpaca Bedware is Hypoallergenic
One of the most common causes of allergies and asthma is the Dust Mite. Alpaca fibre is clean, dry and porous. An environment which is naturally hostile to Dust mites.
Best of Alpaca Bedware is breathable and lightweight
Unlike sheep's wool, Alpaca fibre is hollow making it one of the lightest natural fibres available. The hollow fibres act as insulators, keeping you warm in winter and cool in summer. Alpaca fibres are also porous, absorbing up to 35% of their moisture making your sleep warm and dry.
Best of Alpaca - best for a good nights sleep
By using Best of Alpaca duvets, underlays and blankets you are assured of a longer, deeper and more restful sleep.
Best of Alpaca Bedware is 100% natural
Best of Alpaca Bedware is made from pure Alpaca fibre covered with layers of natural cotton and lightly quilted. The quilting prevents movement of the internal fibre so the duvet does not need to be shaken each morning to even out the fill.
Best of Alpaca is environmentally friendly
Alpacas are one of the cleanest animals whether in the wild or on farms. They are particular about 'personal hygiene' and therefore do not harbour pests. They are shorn annually for their fleece which requires no chemical treatments before use. No pesticides are used in rearing the animals. Alpaca fleeces do not contain lanolin which means they are a lot cleaner than sheep fleeces. Alpaca are not used for meat, only their renewable fleece resource. This means that products made from Alpaca fleeces are acceptable to vegans and animal lovers.
Suggested Tips
To maintain your duvet/underlay in pristine condition we recommend gentle drycleaning
If washing a gentle or delicate setting should be used
Drying must be on a clothes line. NEVER dry with a tumble dryer.
Washing will flatten the fibre so the duvet must be air dried to ensure the loft of the fibre is restored
For hot humid nights, using an underlay and cotton sheets is recommended.
Using a duvet outer, which tones in with your bedroom and can be laundered will reduce the need to launder the duvet itself.
